Speed of Sound automatically changes your music volume based on your driving speed—quieter when stopped, louder on highways. It doesn't require Google Maps, but crashes without it. Map viewing isn't supported. Just play music, connect to your car, and enjoy. Free for everyone, though no updates are planned since the source code isn't available.
